The very first thing visitors look at is your House Number. Make yours stand out with a Handmade Home Address sign.
Originally the pattern for this house number stood on an 16th Century Elizabethan Manor & dated the stables to 1850. I took a mould from it when the stables were converted to apartments & they threw out the sign. To be fair to the workmen, the sign had seen better days - it was made of oak and had split, the border was uneven & woodworm had taken hold. I repaired it as best as it could be & it now is one of our most popular pieces.
These are all bespoke and made to order by us in our workshop.
They look fantastic hanging up outside your home. Make a statement and announce who you are to your visitors.
Each plaque is cast in aluminium using techniques dating back to the Bronze Age with the number or the words of your choice cast onto the plaque, ensuring they never fall off!
After casting, the plaque is fettled and the base is powder coated in your choice of colours, with the lettering hand painted using tough hardwearing enamel paints.
They measure 21 cm high by 28 cm wide, and are 1 cm deep All measurements are approximate due to the natural shrinkage of the molten metal when it cools. The weight is around 1 kg, and all fixings are supplied to attach it to a brick or wooden wall.
